Singing teacher, Community Animateur Writer, and Opera Director

I am based in Ireland but have a growing international reach thanks to modern technology. My portfolio is divided into three complementary strands.

I work with children and young adults, preparing them for auditions and professional engagements. I teach both classical and music theatre repertoires from beginners to diploma standards.

I also work with artists of all genres who experience performance anxiety or need an MOT before a performance. 

An essential part of my practice is my weekly work with community choirs and specialist singing groups such as Singing for Lung Health and Parkinson's.

As a writer/director, I facilitate creative community workshops using drama, dance, voice, or film to explore each group's unique voices, identities, and sense of place. In 2023, I wrote and directed the youth opera 'Seedlings' with composer Andrew Synnott. 

I am currently the music director and vocal coach of Chordiality, a community choir in Wexford, and choir director of the Children's Opera Chorus for Wexford Festival Opera. I hold the Education and Engagement Officer post for the National Opera House and Wexford Festival Opera.
